Paddleboards - SUP's Demos and Equipment Rentals on Lake Tahoe

Stand Up Paddleboards are the latest and coolest watersports craze to hit Lake Tahoe over the last couple of years. Paddleboarding is a great way to cruise on top of the water, enjoying the surrounding scenery, and you can also get a super core workout, balancing and alternate paddling on either side of the board.

West Shore Sports offers Surf Tech paddleboards and we are the West Shore's demo/rental center for this leading brand. The newest Randy French model is 11'6" making it easier to handle then the longer Laird Hamilton 12' 1" model, which is great for bigger riders. We also have the Surf Tech Black Tip 9' model, that is 3' wide providing exceptional balance, for beginners or kids.

We launch conveniently from Obexer's Boat Company south beach, directly accross the street from our shop. West Shore Sports staff gives basic instruction and offer great tips on getting the most fun trying this sport. All SUP's come with leashes and PFD's if your planning to paddle out past the buoy's.
